Ilaiyaraaja To Receive Padmapani Award At 11th AIFF
The 11th Ajanta–Ellora International Film Festival ‘AIFF’ will be held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar from January 28th to February 4th.
Over eight days the festival will showcase around 70 films offering a platform for filmmakers and critics and also movie lovers to celebrate storytelling and exchange great ideas.
Ilaiyaraaja will receive the prestigious Padmapani Award on the opening day January 28th. The ceremony will host national and international artists and dignitaries.
The award includes a certificate, felicitation letter and a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.
With over 50 long years in music Ilaiyaraaja has composed more than 7000 songs for over 1500 films in multiple languages shaping Indian cinema musical legacy.
